SU- Emerald

I've been watching too much Steven Universe lately and decided to make an OC as drawing practice.

Emeralds being gems rooted in love, peace, and acceptance, the girl Emerald here acts as a mediator for the the other Crystal Gems, as well as a friend to Steven. Her Gem is located where her right eye would be (story about that later). Because of this, she lacks depth perception and often crashes into <del>Pearl</del> things. Her weapon is a spear (I'll upload the drawing of that later, also), which will appear whenever light hits her gem, meant to go along with the phrase "the truth coming to light" and in turn, the idea of acceptance that comes with the lore of Emeralds. Next to Garnet, she is the most centered of the Crystal Gems, and acts as a friend and mentor to Steven. Emerald used to live at the Sea Spyre until it was destroyed while she was on an extended vacation, so she now lives in Beach City. She also scares the crap out of Lars because, come on, you would be a little weirded out too if you saw a girl pull a spear out of her eye. She gets along well with Sadie and Peedee.

At least this is my head canon for this character. I'm going to be drawing plenty more of the canon characters too. Hope you like it!
